A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I'm Hannah and I’ve always been obsessed with everything dog! After finishing University, in 2018, I struggled to think of the career path I wanted to go down so I started volunteering at my late, sausage dog, Monty's dog groomers and it changed my life! I volunteered there for a year, completing my Dog First Aid Certificate. I then began an apprenticeship at a groomers in Cardiff doing level 2 Animal Care with Dog Grooming which I completed in January 2020. In March 2020, I completed a grooming course in Bargoed. I started my business in May 2020, travelling to clients houses and doing social distance grooming in gardens and sheds. This led to creating a home salon in my garden at the beginning of 2021. I opened a salon in Newcastle Emlyn, in April 2022 and have now moved to a bigger premises in the centre of town. 

 I have passed my Certified Professional Groomer and Certified Advanced Professional Groomer qualifications. I will be working towards my International Certified Master Groomer qualification in the near future. I love learning more about grooming so regularly go to seminars. I have taken part in a few dog grooming competitions and will be hopefully entering more in the future.
