A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I'm Hannah and I’ve always been obsessed with everything dog! After finishing University, in 2018, I struggled to think of the career path I wanted to go down so I started volunteering at my late, sausage dog, Monty's dog groomers and it changed my life! I volunteered there for a year, completing my Dog First Aid Certificate. I then began an apprenticeship at a groomers in Cardiff doing level 2 Animal Care with Dog Grooming which I completed in January 2020. In March 2020, I completed a grooming course in Bargoed. I started my business in May 2020, travelling to clients houses and doing social distance grooming in gardens and sheds. This led to creating a home salon in my garden at the beginning of 2021. I’m now opening a salon in Newcastle Emlyn, in April 2022.

 In April 2021, I passed my Certified Professional Groomer qualification with a distinction and I am going to complete the Certified Advanced Professional Groomer qualification and International Certified Master Groomer qualification in the near future. I love learning more about grooming so regularly go to seminars. I am also hoping to compete in grooming competitions, when I feel brave enough.
